Your Pet's QuirksHis safe place is laying down in my shower enclosure.
Your Pet's Bio/StoryI rescued Winston from a boarding kennel in Virginia, he was incarcerated there for four months. His owner died and the family didn’t want him so they put Winston in the boarding facility. Winston was driven here to Boulder, he spent over twenty seven hours on the back seat of the transporters car, with periodic potty breaks. When Winston struggled his way out of the car he could hardly walk. As things developed Winston started to walk, his rear end would collapse which totally freaked me out. The boarding facility in Virginia had said Winston was “healthy” they denied when l called them that Winston was lame. Boulder Valley Humane Society has made the determination that Winston’s diagnosis is bilateral cranial cruciate ligament disease. My goal for Winston is to give him the best life that’s possible without putting him through a very expensive surgery. Exercise, meds and water treadmill.
