Quigley was a free dog.

Quigs was a connector for children afraid of dogs. A dog for people who love dogs. Even a dog for cat people. He took the most casual approach to life. He was a free spirit. He was a free dog.

Quigley didn’t bark. He would make eye contact, let out a single, soft, moof, then Carried on, care free. This was the routine. This "moof" happened every day. He was just so pleased. So chuffed.

Quigley had what could only be called hot breath. His mouth exhaled 1000% humidity onto my leg. It's hot. It's smelly. It's Quigley's stinky breath. Such a handsome dog. Such a free dog.
If dogs lived forever, we would not appreciate them the way we do.

We owe them the tough decisions for all the love they give. We owe them dignity. Go, be free, dog.
