Two years ago while I was working as a vet tech, two puppies who were no more than four or five weeks old walked up to the front doors of the clinic from out of the woods. As I put the two puppies in a kennel and gave them food and water, I couldn't help but gravitate towards the female puppy. She had this adorable black and white mask and she was so curious and full of personality. I sat down to say hi and she immediately jumped in my lap, curious as ever. From that moment on she had my heart. I knew right then that I was meant to have this puppy. It was that day that Lexie became mine. At such a young age I could tell how thankful and grateful she was that I rescued her. She has shown me so much love, affection, and happiness since the day I found her. I couldn't have asked for a better rescue pup to enjoy life with. From farm dog, to snuggle buddy, to co-pilot, she is the rescue pup that really rescued me.
