Ralphie was living near a garbage dump which was only open four days a week. The attendant was doing what he could for Ralphie when he was present, but Ralphie was on his own when the dump was closed. Ralphie must be a survivor, very resourceful. After a car hit him, we asked if we could take him to the vet for treatment, and the attendant urged us to adopt him, as well. By that time Ralphie had been on his own for many weeks, so we decided to do it. Ralphie has never looked back. He's full of life and so athletic. He reminds us of how delightful life can be.
