Olive is an American Pit Bull Terrier. He mom was rescued in October 2018 by HES very pregnant. Luckily they found a foster family who took her in and within a half hour of arriving at her foster family, she began deliver her litter of twelve puppies. Olive was the last to arrive and was by far the runt and not doing very well. She was found unresponsive but thanks to an emergency vet visit and and IV she rebounded. She struggled to compete for food (so many siblings!) but as soon as she got to her forever home she began to thrive. This picture was the first warm, dry day we had in weeks and Olive had a chance to explore our back deck and soak up some sunshine. She's three months old in this photo and I'm happy to report she's doing fantastically at nine months old now and is exercising her puppy mischievousness just like the crazy toddler that she is; she never disappoints. Her affection and personality are captivating.
