I didn’t adopt Shaindel when I first met her 4 yrs ago at HES. She was mean, un-trusting and scared most people. After a lot of work and 1 yr, someone adopted her. It was the only time I regretted a decision not to adopt a cat myself. When she was returned to HES 2.5 yrs later, it was kitty kismet. She was extremely harsh; so we got to know each other again. Shaindel was meant for me and my crazy cat home. 1M kitty hugs to my fellow volunteers who accepted the challenge of getting to know a cat who will never be perfect to some. I accept her As Is.
