Ahri was adopted from a local shelter 2 1/2 years ago at the age of
10 1/2. She had never known a loving home until she came to live with me as she was rescued from a hoarding situation by the ASPCA when she was 10 years old. She was very afraid and weary of people and it took nearly six months for her to allow me to pet her. When I brought her home all she wanted to do was lay outside in the dirt, which broke my heart. Fast forward to today, she loves attention, and especially her brother Jace, who really brought her out of her shell. She is a happy, bouncy girl who finally knows what a soft bed and a loving home feels like.
