Spur is a six-year-old female, black-and-tan hound dog ready for a forever home. Like most hounds, she is energetic and "nose curious." She likes to use her nose to explore the outdoors. Spur would make the best hiking buddy or best neighborhood walking dog you can hope for.

She never meets a stranger. Her tail is non-stop waggin' when she sees people. A meet ‘n greet is a good idea if you have other dogs. She is active in playgroups with other Humane Society dogs, but it always helps to check with your own. Cats are ???? Kids????

You may have noticed that Spur looks like Smokey, the University of Tennessee's mascot. If you are a Tennessee fan and have always wanted your very own hound dog to dress in orange on game days, Spur will sit by your side watching the games on TV.

If you are an Alabama fan and fall in love with her, you can dress her in crimson to stick it to Tennessee fans. She will love to watch football with you, too.

Spur wants a good home with good people that she can be her good dog self for.
