Dave is an HES baby! We adopted him at ten months old in 2018 even though he has FIV. He was loving and super chill...until he got comfortable. Now he taunts the dogs, knocks things off tables, and meows exceptionally loud when he has to poop. That's to be expected with any cat though!
He's still very loving, trusting, and quite playful, it turns out, and we've recently discovered his sarcasm. If you don't feed him right when you get home, or close a door when he's on the other side, or any number of things he disapproves of, you hear one loud, long "woooooow". We love Dave and get so much joy from having him as a roommate even if he doesn't pay rent or wash dishes. ;)
