Your Pet's Story or Bio
Thomas was a free roaming and malnourished stray tomcat who showed up on my doorstep out of the blue one day. At the time, I had a senior dog so I was focused on making his last days memorable and did not have much time for a cat. People told me he would wonder away if I did not feed him. Instead, he persisted and continued to come around even though I ignored him and refrained from providing food. Thomas used to stalk me by hiding in the bushes. He would jump out of the bushes and meow as I came up the stairs. However, I continued to go about my business and paid him no attention. I even tried to give him away to someone but he ran up the hill and did not come back until the next day when the interested person was long gone. Thomas continued to use his charm to win my heart and eventually his perseverance paid off. I finally caved in and allowed him to adopt me. I am glad I chose to rescue him because I kept him from getting killed or ending up in an animal shelter. Everyday is a new adventure. In fact, the name Thomas is an acronym which stands for Trouble, Handsome, Outlaw, Mischevous, Adventurous, Shenanigans. These adjectives fit him to a T. He is a tough little hunter who likes to leave "presents" on the doorstep. He loves the freedom to roam as much as the comforts of home. He steals my pillow and blankets and often leaves me hanging off the edge of the bed. What is his is his and what is mine is his. He has definitely earned his keep as a spoiled rotten mama's boy. I wouldn't have it any other way.
