Duffy came to Kevin and I late in life, for both Duffy and us.
We are elderly and wanted a dog but not a puppy. Duffy is 11 now and 10 when we adopted him.
We saw Duffy on the Morgan County Humane Society page and had to meet him. It turned out Duffys owner had to go to a nursing home and could not keep him. Things are not always easy at first, we had another baby, a male schnauzer. I would say it took the first three months to adjust. We are all besties now!
