We answered the Humane Society's plea to adopt Buster 4 wks ago and we are so happy to have this little 14-pound gentleman to help us slow down and enjoy life. He loves the great outdoors.
Buster has spent his entire 13 yrs at the Humane society with a couple failed adoptions and the hard decision was made to put Buster up for adoption again after he became the survivor of a couple dog attacks in his outdoor domain there. Buster is a great example of a community cat who has love to give and wants to be with people but has anxieties that make it difficult for him to jump right into a relationship. Buster can best be described as the perfect blend of prickly and precious. He spent the first 5 days with us living down at the creek like a little troll under an overturned tree. He now spends nights on a heated pad on our back porch and days in the back yard. He loves head pets, brushing, belly rubs and snacks, hence his superhero name, Snack Buster. He even has his own Facebook page, Buster's Fan Club, so all his friends from the Humane Society can keep up with him and to help people understand community cats a little better. We love that Buster is able to use his smug mug here to get support for his people who cared for him at the Humane Society. The volunteers have been amazing to come visit Buster and help smooth his transition to a new place.
