Kona was adopted in April 2020 right at the start of Covid on that same day her sister Nala went home with another family. About a year later my husband said “why is there a picture of Kona still on the Humane Society website?” As we started to investigate we realized it could be her sister. We called the shelter and indeed it was her twin sister who had been lost and returned. The missing part of our family was currently back up for adoption. We said we need her! We went that afternoon and brought her home and after about 20 seconds of play fighting the two sisters have been inseparable. They are constantly touching each other and sleep all cuddled up. They love to run & play and are always looking out for each other. They were destined to be back together and we are so grateful they get to be part of our family forever.
