This is Avon Barksdale. He was found on the streets of Apalachicola, Florida abandoned and in pitiful shape. He was unable to walk because of severe infection in all 4 feet. He suffered from demodectic mange, heartworms and malnutrition. He was picked up by a Good Samaritan and taken to the Franklin County Humane Society where he was rehabilitated and loved. We had the good fortune to adopt Avon in 2019. He has become a big part of our family and is the best friend of our labbie Stella. We love him to pieces, and he keeps us laughing much of the time. He is a very good boy ❤️
