Hi, my name is Eric. I am a magnificent king who loves my family very much! It wasn't always this way though... I was born outside in a large feral colony, with very little human interaction. Therefore I was very sick with upper respiratory infections and my eyes were incredibly painful. A few of my siblings and I were trapped and taken to the humane society where I first met my foster momma. I was so scared but mostly in pain. I was then separated from my family and before I knew what was going on, I was waking up. I realized my face didn't hurt as badly but wondered where everyone was. I was so scared. The lady (foster momma) that I had first met took me away again. This time, I was reunited with my siblings and I was so happy to be with them. They helped comfort me through the loss of my eye and I came to understand that my foster momma was indeed pretty cool. She always had food! And soft pets! My foster family helped me to get better and grow into this magnificent creature and then I made it clear to them that I was already home!! Now I get to play wherever I want, I snuggle every night right next to my foster momma. I can breathe well and my lack of an eyeball does not hinder me in any way. I actually quite enjoy a good face rub. Without the humane society and their foster families, my siblings and I would have never been given the opportunity to live.
