After losing my last dog to Cushings and kidney disease, my house was way too quiet. A dear friend of mine decided I must find myself another dog. It just so happened that she had the phone number of the woman who had fostered her own rescue pup. She reached out to her for me, and she immediately suggested Shelby.

It was love at first sight. I made the decision to take the 5 hour trip from my home in Myrtle Beach and bring her home. I changed her name to Shelley, and she is my Velcro dog, who loves everyone and all of her doggie neighbors.

She loves walks at Market Common and the Beach, and my neighbors love her as well.
