Chips Ahoy! came into my life when I was at my absolute lowest. I had lost my mom a couple weeks earlier, and ended a 4 year relationship two days before I visited the shelter. I saw him at the shelter and he immediately threw himself against the glass and meowed and rolled around for me. I wanted him then, but he was on a humane hold and unavailable. I kept checking back in for weeks and he was still unavailable. I began to give up hope when finally he became available and I rushed over immediately to adopt him. He made himself right at home with me, no adjustment period, no skittish behavior; just immediate love and happiness.

Chips is my best buddy, spending his time playing, snoozing near me while I work, or in my lap purring up a storm while I read. He is so loving and affectionate, not a day goes by that he doesn't show me how much he loves me and is happy to be here with me.
