Pet's Story or Bio
I adopted Goldie eight years ago from Shelter Chic Rescue. Her previous family decided that they didn’t want her anymore because they were expecting a baby and left her at a high kill shelter in the NYC area. Shelter Chic and an amazing foster stepped in and gave Goldie a second chance. They shared her story on The Dodo which I happened to see and I drove to NYC to meet Goldie. The rest is history. Adopting Goldie was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Goldie, at 15 years of age, still has a fiesty personality, loves walks, following me everywhere and relaxing.
