Pet's Story or Bio
HRA found Cookie tied to a fence and hungry in May 2024. After being rehabilitated by the HRA team, Cookie was adopted in July by a family of four who instantly fell in love with her. She has spent the last year in doggie heaven, with her own yard to run around, plenty of treats, and four human laps on which she perches regularly as a 60 pound lapdog. She’s taught her family about love and loyalty, to hide their important shoes and stuffed animals, and that pit bulls get a bad rap that is totally undeserved. Pit bulls are the best!
