I'm 10-plus years now, but have not slowed down a bit, unlike my human. Sure, I sleep a lot, but I'm ever alert to any movement that might indicate kitchen activity, i.e., potentially getting fed. And still enjoy leaping to sit atop the upper cabinets, from where I can easily survey my entire dominion.
