Pet's Story or Bio
This is my very first pet: Temper. I was allergic to fur when I was younger and after a test it turned out I was not. I'm still not sure if I had outgrown my allergy or I never had it. I started looking for a companion after I found out I could have one. My friend said I should adopt from HRA and it was a few days of looking through listings when I saw him. It was love at first sight. I was told over the phone that he might not be the easiest cat to get as my first pet. I still insisted on meeting him and off I went to see him in person at HRA's Oglethorpe branch. After all the warnings and his profile image that made him look like a gray tabby, I was shocked to see a calm white cat. Totally relaxed. We even doublechecked the files on his cage to see if it was even the same cat and the lady who introduced us said he looked like a different cat when she saw him a week before. I would have taken him home right then and there, but he didn't have his microchip yet. On the train ride home, I bought every cat essential I can find and it was happily ever after. It wasn't the smoothest journey, but it was more than worth it and I couldn't ask for a better companion on this adventure.
