Pet's Story or Bio
Dear Layla was rescued by DC Animal Control and Human Rescue Alliance. She was emaciated and had a horrible facial laceration when she was brought in, but with HRAs loving care she is a happy and healthy dog today! I was fostering with HRA for ~ 1year when I agreed to foster sit for Layla. After having her for only 24 hours I submitted an adoption application and now three years later she continues to bring joy and happiness to everyone she meets. This 55-pound lap dog enjoys snuggling, visiting with her friends, and her daily walks into town to visit the shops who offer biscuits to their canine customers and to her favorite coffee shop for a large Puppucino. We are so grateful to HRA for all they do for animals like Layla!
