Rules

How to Submit Photographs:

Once you have made your $45 donation online at www.humanerescuealliance.org/2023calendar please follow the steps below:

  • To submit photos online, click on the Participate tab above and follow the directions to upload a photograph of your pet.
  • Online entries must be received by Friday, August 12 , 2022 at 5 PM EST.
  • Voting will begin July 1 and run through August 12. The 12 photos with the most votes on Friday,  August 12 at 5 PM, will be featured on a month as the largest photo.
  • $1 per vote, $5 minimum vote.

All photos become the property of the Humane Rescue Alliance.

Eligible Photographs:

  • Only entries that have made a photo submission donation will be accepted into the calendar and contest.
  • Photos should be submitted as a high resolution, 300 dpi, or .jpg file
  • Only submit photos of your pet (please do not include people in your photo)
  • You may only submit each pet once; we will not select a photo for you if you submit multiple of the same pet
  • Photos of additional pets may be submitted at $45 per submission here.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once we received your donation and photo submission.

Calendar Photo Selections:

The 12 photos with the most votes on Friday,  August 12 at 5 PM, will be featured on each month (January 2023 - December 2023). The 12 people's favorites will also have a unique opportunity to participate in a calendar-special PHOTOSHOOT for their pets. 
All other eligible photo submissions will be scattered throughout the calendar in various sizes, but no photo will be less than 1 inch x 1 inch. Participants may be asked to provide a different photo or a high-resolution version of the photo they submitted.

 

Vote for Your Favorites:

Once a photo is submitted, you will need to share your personal page to gather votes. Votes are $1 each, with a minimum $5 donation for five votes.

All votes for photo submissions will be tabulated and displayed online.

To vote online, click on the Participate tab above. Donate a minimum of $5 for five votes. Those votes can then be cast for any submitted photo in one-vote increments. Voters do not have to use all the votes at the time of donation. When voters donate, they will be given the option of applying all the votes to one photo, spreading their votes over various photos, or storing votes in their account. If a voter chooses to store their votes, the voter can log into their account using their ID and password and vote later. All votes must be applied to selected photos by the conclusion of the voting period to be counted. Votes cannot be applied to future contests. The online voting period will end on August 12, 2022 at 5 PM EST.

Ending time for the Photo Fundraiser will be determined by the host website's server and will show prominently on the Photo Fundraiser website as a countdown clock on the last day of the fundraiser.

All votes are donations to the Humane Rescue Alliance and are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. All donors will receive receipts for their contributions.

Votes and entry fees are non-refundable.
