It’s that time of year again! HSCC’s famous annual calendar contest runs August 27th through September 27th and we hope you’ll be part of the fun. There are two ways you can participate:

Enter the contest! Click the button to submit your favorite picture of your pet(s) for a chance to win the cover display of the calendar! Enter by submitting one high resolution photo of your family pet, their name and a brief bio, with $30 entry fee which will reserve a 2026 calendar. All entries must be submitted online on this contest website to be considered and published for voting. Photos to be included in the calendar will be chosen by vote. Calendars will be available in November and will make great Holiday gifts!

Vote for your favorite pets! Each vote = $1 per vote, $5 minimum, to the Humane Society. All donations will be used to provide care and medical treatment for the homeless animals. The Humane Society also provides community services, education, affordable spay and neuter services and vaccinations.

Through your support and participation in events like our annual photo calendar contest, we can continue to go above and beyond, not only for animals at the shelter, but for pets - and the people who love them - across the community, providing food, guidance, medical support and peace of mind.

Just want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.
