Get along, little doggie...

Well have I got a long, little doggie for you. Measuring in at 42" long from nosetip to tailend and with legs 7" short, Charlie is a perfect fit in our hearts.

From Key West to the Carolinas, this ~10 year old senior rescue makes people smile in whatever town he moseys on through, but has the pleasure of calling Sarasota his home. You may have even seen him struttin' his stuff around town in his signature cowboy costume as "Chuck Waggin'."

Like a lot of cowboys, he has a past that is a mystery to us. Adopted from Nate's Honor Animal Rescue Center on September 8th, 2021, all we know about Charlie's life before us is that he was rescued from the side of a Georgia highway. A little ramblin' man in need of a home to call his own. He was love at first sight, and I think he knew he had found that home when he jumped into my lap within minutes of meeting each other.

It is such a pleasure and a privilege to be the one to care for this sweet chow hound. If he wins, I might have to pair that wine with a nice steak dinner for my guy...
