Pet's Story or Bio
Cali and I met at the HSSV six years ago. She was underweight, extremely shy and had been found wandering the streets.

After some much needed care, she was up for adoption. I had seen her picture online that day, but when I arrived that evening, it was too late. Another family had already applied for her.

The wonderful staff allowed me to meet her anyway. She was in a back kennel, and came out slowly and sweetly with gentle kisses. I loved her instantly.

As I drove home disappointed, my phone rang. The staff had decided that we were meant to be together. I got tears in my eyes, and did some very fast supply shopping!

I picked up Cali the next morning, and the rest is history. I will always be grateful to the Humane Society for connecting us.
