Pet's Story or Bio
Why hello there, pleasure to make your acquaintance- I'm Princess Rey Lynn!

You would never guess I'm royalty based on my humble beginnings: a single kitten lost on the streets of Atherton, I was rescued and brought to HSSV by one of our wonderful donors. From there, I quickly made my way into a foster home. When I was first brought home, I was no more than a tiny black floof with bright, piercing eyes.

My first month with my foster parents was rough- I missed my mom and my siblings, and I didn't know how to make friends with my new humans. I didn't even like to move or make any sounds when they were around. When I would cry for my family in the middle of the night, my foster mom would come sleep on the floor with me. But I wasn't convinced yet.

The big breakthrough came when I reached 1.5 pounds- time to be spayed! My foster dad snuck me past the landlord, out of our NOT pet-friendly apartment, and back to HSSV. When I came home that night, Mom and Dad couldn't believe it: at long last, I had finally found my voice and learned how to MEOW! I was a new lady- ready to take on the world. They were so overjoyed to see (and hear) me coming out of my shell, they realized there was no way they could give me up.

Two years later, I couldn't be a happier foster failure. My humans cater to my every whim, and never fail to compliment me on my stunning eyes, beautiful trills, and fabulous, full-length ebony coat. I may be a princess at heart, but I'll never say no to leash walks and hunting lizards (winning me the nickname Lynnie Lizard). I'm also a huge fan of breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, supper, midnight snacks, and whatever yummies might come in between. When I'm not eating, you're most likely to find me crashing Dad's video conference calls.

If it weren't for the incredible people of HSSV, my story would have turned out very differently. I am so thankful for the opportunity I was given to become a happy, healthy companion kitty, and I would love to help my fellow cat people find their forever homes! Please consider donating to help the more than 500,000 homeless animals HSSV has rehomed in the past century.
