Pet's Story or Bio
Porkchop is a current HSSV shelter animal. He is being fostered while he recovers from his many medical treatments. He was originally found as a stray in Sunnyvale, CA. He presented to HSSV with untreated ear infections that were so severe that they required the removal of both ear drums and ear canals leaving him completely deaf. He is currently recovering from this major surgery and we are focusing on getting his allergies, hence the socks in the photo (he likes to chew on his feet), under control too. In the mean time, he is learning how to live life to its fullest and recently visited Santa Cruz and attended his first pool party. He loves everyone he meets both animals and people and his life goal is to win this contest!
