Pet's Story or Bio
Gimpy is a tiny 7lb, 8 year old special needs kitty I adopted last October who is special in so many ways besides the physical disabilities she has. When she was 6 her family surrendered her to a local rescue organization because a family member developed allergies. She was with the rescue for a couple years and they took very good care of her and got her the diagnoses and treatment she needed. She has scoliosis, a fused spine, mild asthma/bronchitis, TMJ in her jaw that required PT, and teeth removal.

I feel extremely lucky to have her in my life. She is by far the gimpiest, derpiest, friendliest, cuddliest, drooliest kitty ever, whos meows often sound like hissing, and she contorts her face into the cutest expressions. She would hobble over to me in bed and trust fall on to me for hugs and kisses. She makes me laugh.... a lot. She struggles to walk, and would occasionally fall over when she's trying to get up, but she doesn't let it discourage her. She's helped me overcome difficult changes in my life. I have a lot to learn from her. ♡
