Pet's Story or Bio
Dottie showed up emaciated and with an open, infected fracture of her left humerus. We were not looking for a dog, but were happy to foster her into a healthy state and find her a good home. Her amazing personality, smarts, and perfectly timed head tilts completely obliterated our plan as she gripped our hearts. We soon realized she was never leaving. I think she knew exactly what she was doing.
She's a great road trip dog, which is where this photo was snapped - on a volunteer trip to South Dakota.
