Stella

Pet's Story or Bio
Stella is a Pit Bull/Shih Tzu mix, about a year and a half old. As a small puppy, she was hit by a car and abandoned. Luckily she was rescued, but the damage to her right front leg was too far gone for the leg to be saved. She had her front leg amputated at a very young age, but has never let it slow her down. She was fostered by wonderful people and then we got to adopt her after her amputation healed. She is a wonderful companion, and in her spare time she helps teens and young adults with disabilities learn to get used to dogs. She also helps foster dogs coming into our home feel comfortable and she shows them how to properly dog. She is just amazing!
