Pet's Story or Bio
Rococo was adopted from the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter , where my husband works. He brought him home on Valentine's Day, telling me we'd be "fostering" this 10-year-old dog with liver and kidney disease. (Many of you know, fostering only works in our house when it's MY idea, not Ben's...so I knew what this really meant.) Cut to a few weeks later when all Rococo's teeth had been removed, and suddenly he started to feel better. He started "Benjamin Buttoning" and his personality began to shine. He's an attention hog, a toy hog, and a snuggle hog. This pic is one of his favorite activities - being at the center of attention. This was a beautiful Sunday in our backyard, getting belly rubs from his uncle Scotty.
