Colleen MorainePet's Story or Bio
Sebastian was a summer of 2009 "big boned" baby and has been melting our hearts ever since day one of adopting him at Silicon Valley's Humane Society. As a tuxedo kitty, he is always ready for a black-tie event with his handsome silky black coat, bright white fluffy chest and great big sparkling green eyes. His name derives from my travels abroad, where I discovered one of the most beautiful Spanish Basque cities, San Sebastian. This lucky little fur ball has lived the life of two cats and in 2017 was able to ditch the harsh Bay Area traffic to retire with my family to sunny San Diego. As a Bay Area native, he enjoys many indoor activities, such as meal time, finding new hiding spots, and sleeping by the fireplace. In San Diego he participates in several volunteer activities such as keeping the family on track (becoming everybody's alarm clock), food and beverage director, music appreciation, and as a gecko spotting enthusiast. He's a true ambassador for gecko and feline friendships. Sebastian is our loving family cat, he's good with kids and his inner beauty shines through with every interaction. His passions for meal time, cuddling, and playing are just a few aspects of his zest for life.
