Pet's Story or Bio
Jubilee came into our lives in March of this year. The minute I saw her picture on the Humane Society website, I knew she needed to be a part of our family. According to her bio, Jubilee was used for hunting and breeding prior to her surrender. Additionally, she was saved by the Humane Society from an out of county shelter as she was considered to be a "high risk" for euthanasia. After checking her status every day for two weeks, we finally made the trip, learned about her special needs, and said yes! Jubilee has blessed my sons' lives with her patience and her incredibly calm presence. At times, it even appears as if she is "mothering" my almost two year old. She has blessed mine and my husband's lives with her amazingly sweet demeanor. Although Jubilee is partially blind, she is persistent. Each and every day she is making more and more progress in our home - all the while sharing more and more of her quirky personality. I often find myself simply watching Jubilee while thinking "Thank you, God, for bringing us this special girl."
