Pet's Story or Bio
Cadie was a research subject for her first year of life, living in a kennel without much interaction with other dogs or positive interaction with humans. She was lucky enough to be adopted out at 1 year of age. I adopted her a year later when her first family could no longer keep her. We have been inseparable since the day I brought her home when she was 2. She was afraid of everything and everyone for a long time due to her time as a lab rat, but eventually learned to love and trust humans again. At age 9 she underwent a major spine operation and recovered completely, much beyond our expectations. She is now 10 and still acts like a crazy puppy, especially if you give her a carrot- her favorite treat! She is our little princess forever!
