Pet's Story or Bio
We received Precious, our fawn Pug, as a gift to my husband when he was going through his 2nd bout with throat cancer. We were at a Relay for Life event and a local breeder we spoke to donated her to us. She was 7 weeks old. She is now my husband's full time companion and is registered as an ESA (emotional service animal). He is a Vietnam Veteran who struggles with PTSD. Precious is very loving, faithful, smart, and brings him peace. She never leaves his side. Her favorite pastime, besides fetching, is laying on the couch by her 'daddy'. She loves to go to the home improvement store because they give her treats. She is also popular at our church where she's known as the "church dog". We're very thankful for her!
