Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Oliver several years ago after losing our Scoobie who was also adopted at the shelter. When I went to shelter I was ready to adopt the puppy Yorkie that was shown on the website.When I got the shelter next to the puppy was Oliver shivering and hiding under his cot. He was formerly named Scottie but he looked like an Ollie! I did not hesitate to start the adoption process. 4 years later Oliver has come such a long way. He loves for you to love on him...that took years, he sleeps with me at night and wakes me up with sweet kisses. He was not housebroken and now has no accidents . When he first came home he was not use to grass...now he loves to play hide and seek games in the yard. He had a Golden Retriever brother, he clung to when he came home. Recently we lost our sweet Golden Boy and I knew the Rainbow Bridge was close as I watched Oliver separate himself from Apollo and become independent. He loved Apollo dearly and I truly think Apollo had a little talk with Oliver before leaving us. Oliver is a perfect example of having patience and love even if it takes a while ...it does pay off for your adopted fur baby but more so for the human in their lives!
