Dukie came to me as a foster from HSTB at seven weeks old. I am a volunteer there. I began fostering puppy litters. I was hesitant about fostering a single puppy knowing I would get attached. Needless to say, my family fell in love with this handsome, little green-eyed pit mix. He stole my heart the day I took him home for the first time. He has endless puppy energy and is just filled with overflowing love.He loves socializing with people and other dogs. He loves the dog park and even going to doggie camp when we have to travel. After losing our chocolate lab a year ago, we were heartbroken and were not ready to get another dog . HSTB helped my healing process just by being able to love up all those beautiful dogs. Then Dukie came into our lives. It was meant to be. He truly is a gift and we are so thankful to have him in our family and he will always have a place to call home!
