Pet's Story or Bio
Lazarus was a rescue from the churchyard. He was raised by children in the church's day care and I first saw him when he was playing ball with a group of them...chasing after each receiver and trying to get the ball! A very small child picked him up, frightening me for the child's safety, but Lazarus just draped in his arms and allowed the boy to carry him as he wanted.

Lazarus was so happy in his churchyard home that I TNR'd (Trap/Neuter/Return) him and brought him food, along with others at the church. He soon went missing for 2 weeks and, when he came back, had a serious infected wound from a bite. Sadly, he was growling and hissing and had become afraid of his church yard ''home.'' I gladly took him in, got him to the doctor and all healed up, and he has been such a great joy in his, ''furever,'' home ever since.
