Pet's Story or Bio
Hi my name is Lucy Foo. My mom rescued me Jan 4 2002 after my family decided they did not want me anymore. I was only 1 year old and the left at a kill shelter like I was an old piece of trash. At first I was sad and scared but soon I realized that I had won the ultimate lottery when my now mom came and bailed me out of jail. They told her I had submissive urination but I heard her say that's okay we can work on this. My new journey began. I ve been spoiled rotten since the day I walked through the front door of my now home. I've celebrated every Barkday in style with my own cake! Christmas is my favorite time with homemade Santa Paws cookies, squeaky balls, and new blankets. My mom has given me a life I could have only dreamed of.
This past January 2015 I was not feeling well and so my new journey began. I was diagnosed with TCC which is terminal bladder cancer. Funny I came in with submissive urination and I am headed out with urination issues. I am telling you when I get to that rainbow bridge I am going to have to talk to someone about this pee issue!
My mom has helped me fight this cancer like nobody's business. After many chemo treatments nothing more can be done. I am okay with this as I come upon my 15th Barkday. My wish is to raise enough money so that other animals have a chance to have that winning ticket of a loving family with Barkday cakes and visits from Santa Paws. Do not feel sad for me because I have had a full life that I could have never imagined to be this "pawsome"!
My wish is that every animal gets their winning lotto ticket.
