Pet's Story or Bio
I adopted Ezra The Yorkie 3 years ago this month. I have to say that morning, I was not planning on adopting a puppy. I met a couple of friends at a festival on State Street. We were browsing the various vendors when I spotted the animal shelter booth. I walked up and immediately made eye contact with Ezra. He was desperately trying to reach out to me and get out of the cage. I asked to hold him and he grabbed on to me for dear life. The shelter employee informed me that Ezra was rescued from a puppy mill. He was very underweight and appeared he had never been groomed. I made the decision that instant to turn that puppy's life around and vowed to never put him in a cage again. I took Ezra shopping for the essentials - food, bowls, treats, a leash, toys, and a sweater to keep him warm. Ezra quickly took a liking to running errands with me and dressing up in clothes. Before I knew it, he had more clothes than I did. I started photographing him in various outfits and locations, quickly realizing he loved to pose for the camera. Everyone loved his pictures and suggested that I create his own Facebook page! Ezra has brought so much joy and happiness to me and I wanted to share that with the world. Even on the worst of days, Ezra brings a smile to my face. Ezra's fans state that they look forward to his posts on a daily basis. Today, Ezra has a Facebook fan page with over 1,500 followers, and Instagram page with 1,300 followers, and a rapidly growing Twitter. He has traveled to the beach, mountains, and most recently to Niagara Falls, Canada. In the last 3 years, Ezra has grown from a weak and disheveled rescue to a very happy, popular and well loved dog.
