Nola
Pet's Story or Bio
Nola was adopted from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay on Feb. 1, 2016. Her name was Fergie. We wanted to give her a fresh start and changed her name to Nola. She's loved it from day 1! Nola is 6 years old and came to us seriously malnourished while fighting ear infections and a urinary tract infection. Her face was so brown that I thought it was her natural color, until we got her groomed and realized she'd probably never been properly professionally groomed (although the folks over at the HSTB did do a great job of getting all the severe mats off of her). They also performed surgery on her teeth for severe gingivitis and she now has a Hollywood smile!! Nola LOVES car rides and cuddles. She is a very quiet lady who always crosses her legs when picked up. It's super cute and dainty! She has gained a full 2 pounds (now 9 lbs.) since coming home with us and all of her ailments have been cured. She goes absolutely everywhere with us and we just absolutely adore her!! She has rescued us, just as much as we rescued her. She's brought a love and energy into our home that is so incredibly special. Thank you HSTB for starting our Nola up on the road to recovery. We LOVE her!! You all can follow her adventures from day 1 on Instagram @nolabrinkey. :-)
