Pet's Story or Bio
Barry is an English Golden Retriever who was born to be a guide dog. He spent the first 15 months of his life with wonderful puppy raisers in Sun City Center who introduced him to many Tampa landmarks and including Tampa Airport, Tampa Museum of Art, International Plaza, Busch Gardens, and many Publix stores. After a medical condition determined that he would need a "career change" he became the sweetest family pet who is always smiling. He now enjoys playing with his sister Stella, dog parks, college football, swimming, dog-friendly restaurants, watching for the UPS man, updating his Instagram account and helping raise money for other dogs in the community. Barry loves meeting new people and his parents often joke that it looks like he is running for political office.
