Luna Mia has been the most wonderful blessing. Keeps me on my toes, I must say, she is playful , full of energy and antics you would not believe. She has a keen sense of knowing when I am not feeling up to par and lies down next to me and places her paw across my chest as if saying "don't worry mommy, I will take care of you". The day I went to the humane society there were so many kittens it was very difficult to make a choice. Until I found her, all curled up in her cage sleeping and I noticed she was a polydactyl kitty. And i said, this is the one for me, the one with the extra toes that made it seem as if she had mittens. To my surprise, when I held her, I noticed she had a patch of dark hair on her side in the shape of a heart!. This was a definite sign that this was the kitten I wanted to love and give a furr-ever home. She is the Queen in my home and I love her more each passing day! Thank you Humane Society of Tampa for taking such good care of all those pets and making it possible for me to be so lucky ! I thought I was rescuing her, and in essence she had rescued me.
