Pet's Story or Bio
I already had 5 cats in my life but came across Pirate's photo. He was a stray that had developed an eye infection and unfortunately the eye couldn't be saved. Since I felt that I could not bring anymore cats into the home, my Tampa Bay Pirates hockey team got together and donated some money towards Pirate's eye surgery. That was the least I could do!

A couple months went by and my husband and I saw Pirate was up for adoption that particular day. We decided to stop by and meet him and the rest is history! All of my cats are over 10 years old and bringing this ridiculously energetic kitten into the house has gotten them all going again! It is a super fun dynamic and it's great to see my 13 and 11 year old cats running around the house with Pirate, who is now 2. He is such a joy and so much fun and such a little love. Can't imagine life without him in our family.
