Pet's Story or Bio
Mama was rescued from a backyard breeder, she was the puppy machine. It was determined that she had her first litter when she was approximately 6 months old and it continued from there until she was rescued at the age of 5. We began fostering her and her daughter, Bede Mae, who was very ill. Once we realized how ill Bede Mae was, we became foster failures. Bede Mae passed away one year to the day after we began fostering her. Mama took the loss very hard, as did we. However, she is now a very healthy, happy and much appreciated addition to our family. She truly shows the power of the second chance with a family who loves her and is willing to look past her past. She learned what grass under her feet felt like, how to walk on a leash, play with toys, enjoy the company of other dogs comfortably and what it really means to be a dog. She had a very rough first five years of her life, but we plan on making the remainder of her life the happiest years she's ever known. She deserves this more than anything else because not only did we rescue her she rescued us!
