Keira was adopted from Illinois Bird Dog Rescue in 2008. Originally dumped in Southern Illinois, probably by a frustrated hunter or from a hunt training camp, she is a lovely pet who is afraid of all loud noises (gun shy). She's a lover not a hunter, but is completely happy relaxing in a patch of sun or snuggling with her favorite boy on his bed. She also protects everyone in our home from squirrels, robins, chipmunks and killer rabbits.
