I know a man who is owned by Setters, but breeds and maybe a little more than he can justify. As a consequence, Jack, being held back for showing promise, went by the wayside to his owner's busy work schedule and ended up undersocialized and underdeveloped. I found myself passing through his neck of the woods and stopped off for a visit. We were talking dogs and such and it some how came about that I was welcome to take Jack if I had the notion. I don't know that I've ever turned down the chance to take a dog from an unfavorable situation, so he came home. After several months of socialization and some training I started to put the word out that I had a rescue available. Not long after, Jerry and Sue reached out to me, we met up and the rest is history.
