Hello, Twix here.
The original plan was that my rescue sister Myla and I were to be photographed together. However, she is at science camp so it is just me.
Mom read a post that said “this may be the last photo of Myla.” She was scheduled to be put down only because the shelter was at capacity.
Well, mom loves animals and that was unacceptable so she drove to the dog pound and saved her. That is how Myla became our family member.
Since then, I started volunteering at I.C.A.R.E which is a no-kill dog rescue. I believe that every dog in shelters deserves a second chance. Furthermore, I also believe that every dog ought to have access to medicine if they need it. These are two principles of I.C.A.R.E.
