Nicholas was a shelter dog that had to be pulled by the Humane Society because of severe kennel anxiety. He had been abused and needed socialization. I adopted him when he was about a year and a half. He is now almost 6 years old. He loves his family and has a favorite cat, Peter, who is also a rescue. He has come such a long way since adoption. He will actually ask for and accept pets from kind strangers now.
